howdy! I'm Nailah Grace <3

I come from a big family, my coffee order is cold brew with oat milk, and I think Twix is the best chocolate bar. I'm an aspiring culinary arts teacher, a calligraph-er, and a lover of country music.

I reside in Canada and am currently in college studying nutrition & education, pursuing my passion for culinary arts to hopefully pass on to the next generation. next to food, my biggest passion is music. specifically country music.

I fell in love with country music in the summer of 2016. while there were a handful of country songs I enjoyed, I would've never in a million years considered myself a "country fan", until one day I had flipped to the local country station on the radio in my bedroom, and Different for Girls by Dierks Bentley & Elle King was playing. I was surprised at the story the lyrics were conveying and amazed at how, sonically, it didn't sound like any other songs I knew at the time. that weekend, my stepmom and I drove around listening to all the best that the biggest country stars at the time had to offer. it's fair to say that my life hasn't been the same ever since.

named after my favourite song off one of my all-time favourite albums (Sunday Drive by Brett Eldredge), beneath that magnolia was born because I needed a place to creatively express my love (and thoughts and critiques) for country music. when life and schoolwork get to be a little bit too much, music is always there to help.
